SUO Challenge Treats for a Treat
Treat Holders for everyone
SUO#30 Challenge
SUO#30 Challenge
Well I am sure everyone knows that its not long now until Christmas.
So what better way to get organized than to start now.
Stampin Up Only Challenges have a challenge this week for everyone to make something to hold a treat.
With Christmas in mind I have decided to go with a Christmas Treat Holder.
I must admit this is a very easy and quick way to give a small chocolate to some one to show you are thinking of them. Not only that these are really great to pop on the table with your Christmas Crackers.
I have gone for the Australian Look this year for Christmas as I am sure we are going to be in for a hot one again. What better way to show we are proud aussies with our Happy Christmas Mate Stamp set.
I have cut out 2 of the wider tags from the Two Tags Die (115954) joined them together and put the chocolate inside and secured with some of the Cherry Cobbler Seam binding Ribbon (120992)
Yes I have done some very fussy cutting because I have used the Kangaroo from the Happy Christmas Mate stamp set (115918) coloured him in with my aqua painter and them adhered him to the front of the tag box. I used the A gift for you stamp from the Beautiful Season stamp set (124944) as well.
This is the side with with the chocolate inside.
I did put a little of sticky on the chocolate so it wouldn't fall out

Friends 50th
A very special friend had her 50th Birthday not so long ago, so I wanted to make a special card for her. I know that she just loves pink, so what other colour could I use. Really if she loves Pink gotta go with that.
Here is the card I made.
I even made a matching envelope
I have used the new Fabric (Flirtatious)

Album Class - WOW
I decided to make a paper Bag Album to do for my lovely ladies, as they all love doing albums. They wanted a sepia look, so off to my catty I went and choose my colours and embellishments that I wanted to use. Waited for my order to arrive and set about putting the album together.
I did this in stages as I did have my other life that needed attention as well, so I would say over about 3 days I managed to finish my album.
(no not all my time was used in these 3 days probably about 3 1/2 hours)
Now with a date set and a list of eight names I set about getting organized for the class. Boy oh boy did I regret saying that I would cut everything out for them. I must of been insane...hehe Well I am going to tell you because it was quite a feat it took me 1 hour per album. Yep you read right 1 hour, now you times that by 8 and I am sure you can come up with an answer.
Anyway it was well worth all my time and I was so pleased with the comments from my lovely ladies. They were all thrilled with the finished project. I must say they all did a great job and again yes it was very tiring and sitting down for so long was very hard on the back.
So guess what Ladies I am now in the process of organizing another one.
Here are some pictures of the class
First is before everyone arrived.
Here are all the lovely Ladies
Left to right
Vera, Anne, Zoe and Kerry
now if you have a looksie at Kerry's hand, its bandaged up
Although it was very hard for Kerry to do this album due to
her hand, that was not going to stop her, she enlisted in the
help of my daughter Zoe.
What a ball Zoe had, she loved it.

Yes Ladies I say WOW, what a class, I never imagined it would be so big.
I will be back with some photos of the album later.

Until next time

50 Years, JAI88
50 Years and still going strong.
Just Add Ink Challenge 88
Well yes that is right everyone my Mum and Dad are celebrating a milestone today because it is their 50th Wedding anniversary. What an accomplishment, I say. Three cheers for them. So with that in mind as it really is a special day I wanted to make a special card. Now for the 50th its Gold. So I had some of the brushed gold papers in my stack and set about making their card. I have also used the very vanilla which I think go lovely together.Just Add Ink Challenge 88
I wanted to make a style that I haven't done before and as I have seen alot of these I went with this style not sure what its called. I have used a couple of the dies that go through the bigshot machine as well and I am loving this die called Fun Flowers at the moment. It is just so gorgeous.
Before I popped my card in its envelope I did abit of blog surfing and went and had a look at my favorite challenge website Just Add Ink and blow and behold the challenge this week is to Just add a Die Cut. This card is perfect for this weeks challenge so I have entered it. I have been very busy for a while now and haven't been doing alot of the challenges from Just Add Ink, but I am now back and ready to play. So pop on over to their web and have a look at all the inspiration from the Design Team.
Here is my card
I have die cut the flowers and water spritzed and scrunched up and stuck together with a gold brad. The other flower at the top right corner is the Blossom Party Die and put together like the other one. The very vanilla cardstock is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper folder. The wooden 50 has been daubed with gold metallic ink.
I have put a photo of my parents when they were dating on the front and then I put a photo of them on their wedding day on the inside of the card. I took photos of my card prior to putting these photos on.
I had enough flowers left over so I could put one on the inside and the envelope.
This is a picture of the whole package. So thank you for stopping by and until next time, Happy Stamping.
