Card Class

Recent Card Class

Not so long ago I managed to get a class organised and 6 lovely ladies showed up and boy did we have fun.  Lots of laughs not to mention the mess.  Wow you ladies sure can make a mess. hehe

Now remember you really have to try and get the paint on your project, not your hands and work space.

Thanks for a great morning.  Can't wait for the next one.  Working on it as I type.  Gee I'm good I can do two things at once.

Here are the cards they all made.

If you have a look at the Tree card this is the one I used for my competition.  Which unfortunately no one guessed right.

Might need to get another competition organised.  I still have a prize to giveaway

Interested in coming to a class, drop me an email.

Thanks for stopping bye

Playing in the Dirt

Well I managed to get another photo of my youngest Son put on a layout.  This one is of him and his gokart.  He loves racing, but mostly I think he just loves getting dirty.

I kept this one simple and let the chipboard do the talking.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope by visiting my blog I have given you some inspiration.

Altered Canvas

Altered Canvas

I have finally managed to finish my Canvas that I decided to put together.  Amazing I think it only took about a week.  Five minutes here, ten minutes there and well you get the gist.  As all us scrapbookers, crafters know how long one project can take.

Most of the items I have used are all items that I have had sitting in my stash.  A few years ago we took the family to Albany for a holiday over the Christmas break and the photo was taken there.  I think it is just perfect for my canvas project and I love the serenity of it.

I do love the way this has turned out.

Graffitti Artists

Another layout of my Son and Daughter.  I just love this photo.  Its not often I can get them together and looking good to capture a photo.  But this one is a real favorite of mine.

This is a very simple layout as not many layers, but I think it turned out rather good.  The photo is perfect for it.

A close up of the photo.  Aren't they just gorgeous...

Another Journal

Another Journal

Here is another journal I managed to get done last night.  Its amazing how you start off with something in mind, but the end result isn't really what you thought of first.  The amount of times whenever I am doing either a card, layout or off the page project how things change as you go along.  Not to mention the amount of papers, embellishments that end up in the waste bin.

Don't forget you can purchase these Journals from me, just send me an email with colours of you choice.

The bottom is a close up of some of the detail

 Thanks for looking

Sweet - layout

S.W.E.E.T

Another layout of my lovely daughter.  I left the chipboard pieces raw.  I have used a paper napkin for my roses.

Love this photo of my Daughter.

A Journal

REVAMPED JOURNAL

I have a few Journals in my stash and decided that it was time to give them a new look.  These are really great gifts to give that special some one.  Nana, Teacher or just your BFF.

I have used the new Empire Cardstock from Kaisercraft, most of the other items were from my stash.

Would you like one of these.  I do take orders.  If you would like one all you need to do is email me with the colour scheme you would like and leave the rest to me.

Cheers

Rock CLimb - Layout

 ROCK CLIMB

As I was having so much fun with the splatter technique and decided to do another layout this time of my youngest son when we went bush bashing.

We stopped to have a look around and found a great spot for some rock climbing and yes off he went.  My son is the adventurous one always getting into everything.  We saw lots of waterfalls throughout the rocks as well.  Was a great day.

I decided to just splatter a sheet of cardstock and then run it through my bigshot with the circles die.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look.
Let me know what you think by leaving me a comment.
I just love reading them

Scrapbook layout - Smile

S.M.I.L.E

Here is a layout I have done of my eldest son at his 20th Birthday Party.
I used the colours to compliment his cake that was made by a very good friend (Thank you Jamie).
I have done a couple of techniques on this page, one being the splatter which has given me the background, the other is the stitch effect around the outside. For my candles I have used Washi tape which I think turned out really nice.  The red flames do have a trace of yellow around them as well.

Below is a close up of the splatter and you can see the yellow around the flames abit better here as well.

Thanks for stopping by and comments are always welcome.
