Well I was lucky this week because over at Just Add Ink they have a challenge for Just Add Flowers. I recently stumbled upon Heidi's blog where she showed us how to make Hydrangea's. Although this is a very fiddly card the end result is marvelous and well worth the effort. So I have made a few of these and it fits in well with this week's challenge. I didn't actually have the punch that Heidi used, so I used my Trio Flower Punch instead.
I have used Marina Mist and Bashful blue cardstock and the leaves are Certain Celery. I stamped the reeds from Inspired by Nature Stamp set and stamped them with versamark for the background. Leaves where free hand I daubed some of my flowers for an added look and the Scallop Corner Punch was also used. The saying is from the On Your Birthday set.

Friendship/Mateship JAI 65
Just Add Ink Challenge #65
Well this week is a very special challenge
that the design team over at Just Add Ink
have come up with.
Well this week is a very special challenge

have come up with.
ANZAC day. So we have a make something
with Friendship/Mateship in mind.
What is ANZAC Day
ANZAC Day is a very special day in Australian and New Zealand history. ANZAC stands for the Australia New Zealand Army Corp. and it is significant because on the 25th of April 1915, both countries were involved in a difficult battle on the shores of Gallipoli.
I wasn't sure again what to do here, and I have done something I usually don't I thought I would do a scrap page of Me and my Friend. So off I set. I love the Elegant Soiree papers so wanted to use them. Luckily I had some Baja Breeze Ribbon and Corduory Buttons left in my stash so they came in very handy. I have had ago at some ribbon Rosettes before with out much success, but as we all know try and try until you succeed. So I was happy with my end results. So I hope you like my page. Don't forget to pop over to the Just Add Ink Website for lots more inspiration.
Oh guess what I know I said this was a page with ME in it. Ha Ha silly me I am usually the one behind the camera, so I didn't have a photo with me and my friend. hehe. Will have to fix that.
Thanks for looking.

Happy Mothers Day SUO#17
Well here is another card for the SUO Challenge #17. With Mother's Day coming up, this week was the focus on Mother's Day. Well a subject I am very fond of, one because I am a mum, but because I have a wonderful Mother and Mother-in-Law that I can spoil. I love making cards for special people in mind and Mothers Day is full of flowers. Hence why I made a flower card. I decided to use my favorite colours for this card, partially because my Mum loves green, but also because I really do like these colours together.Like I said I have used my favorite colours, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. I have also used the Top Note Die and the Tulip Embossing folder with the bigshot. I then made my Gorgeous Roses. Tania Gould was very kind in showing us how to make these gorgeous flowers and I have used them alot, as they are so easy to make. Thanks Tania.
Here is a close up of the flowers. I have used the Shimmer Paint for the sparkle and I sponged the edges with Whisper White.
This is what the inside of the card looks like. As you can see I used the Tulips Embossing Folder for the inside, something a little different, but I do like it..
Well thats about it, thanks for looking and hopefully my Mother will love her card as much as I had making it. Don't forget to click over to the SUO Website for more Mother's Day Card inspiration.

JAI 64 Chocolate Wrapper Inspiration
Just Add Ink 64
Chocolate Wrapper?
Oh well the design team at Just Add Ink are really setting the steaks high this week. We have to make a card with our favorite chocolate wrapper as inspiration. Now this is hard for me because I sooo love chocolate the hardest part was which one do I choose. Now I must say maltese's are a favorite, but then I do love Flakes, oh but I can't go past Rocky Road, maybe some hazelnuts.... mmm what a dilemma. Oh well lets have a look at whats in my fridge....... Well what do you know my favorite Rocky Road Cadbury Block. Well this one must be it, it must be fate....
So with my chocolate block in front of me I set off to make a card. Time out I need some chocolate..lol. I did manage to make my card before the block of chocolate was finished, well thats an accomplishment in itself.lol. I hope I managed to get this challenge right as I seemed to be going in a different direction to some, but hey it was great fun doing it. So here is what I came up with
This is my card and that block of chocolate inspiration.
I have used Elegant Eggpalnt, Real Red, Choc Chip cardstock. My small round punch for my marshmallows and cherries and the ribbon punch for my peanuts. I used some alphabet punches for the words.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Just Add Ink website for some more goodies.

JAI 63 Inspiration Challenge
Oh dear where do I start. This week at the Just Add Ink website they have an Inspiration Challenge for us. I must admit I took a look at the picture and talk about a head spin. Wasn't really sure what to do? So went away and got tea organised, did a few things, came back had another look, still bambozzled so went and watched some TV. Mind still boggling but had a few ideas. Kids fed, bathed and in bed mmmm what should I do? Here is a look at the picture we had for inspiration.
I must say great picture. Now like I said had something in mind so set about to put it together. No not quite what I had in mind, back to the drawing board. I stayed with the general idea I had from the start and just kept playing until I finally came up with this idea.
With a few changes here and there and lots of scrap going in the bin all in all I am happy with the end result. It is a very bright and cheery card, which is the feeling I got from the Inspiration Photo.
This is a picture of the inside of the card. I decided to put the Big Butterfly inside to go with the front of the card.
Card Recipe:-
Cardstock: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Stamp Set: Inspired by Nature, Tiny Tags
Ink: Pear Pizzaz, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Versamark
Tools: Pinking Hearts Border Punch. Embosslit Die Beautiful Wings,
Sponges, Clear Embossing Powder, Tiny Tag Punch, Real Red
Ribbon, Heat Gun
Technique: Emboss Resist.
So don't forget to pop over to the Just Add Ink website for more inspiration

Hoot Hoot its your Birthday SUO#16
SUO Challenge No. 16
Well this is for another challenge over at the SUO Challenge website. This time around its raining Cats and Dogs. So we had to make a card with an Animal on it. I decided to get an old favorite out and have a play with it. This set is called Forest Friends. This is the card I came up with.
For my cardstock I have used Early Espresso for the main card and the layer is called Crumb Cake. I then used the Woodgrain Stamp Set and stamped it in Early Espresso ink as well as my little bunny (gotta love the rabbit) and the owl (which are from the Forest Friends Stamp Set). I have used the 1 3/4" and 1 1/4" Round punches to make the hole at the top so that I could put the little owl in. He is attached with Linen thread which makes him move abit. The phrase is from the Sincere Salutations Stamp set and I used the Square punch to make the end look like a flag. I used the embosslits butterfly die to cut out my little butterfly(Daffodil Delight). I really wanted him to sit on my little bunny's nose but it just didn't look right so I ended up putting him on his ear.
I used the scrap pieces that where punched out to make my hole for the inside of the card.
Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop on over to the SUO Challenge site to see all the other cute little animals.

Just Add Ink #62
A Box or a Bag?
Well I had some time today to catch up with another challenge over at the Just Add Ink site and this week it is to Just Add a Bag or Box.
Last month I ran a class for an Off the Page Project where we all got to make a Vintage Mini Album, and although we have finished this class I was going through the album today and was trying to think of a way to present this album. So with the Just Add Ink challenge in mind I decided that this album just needed something to finish it off. What better way to present this album as a gift to some one special by making a very special package for it. So this is what I came up with.
Another view of the top of the box
This is the box and the album that goes inside it.
The album consists of 9 pages including the Front and Back covers.
Following are some of the pages in the album.
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by
and I hope you enjoyed this post
and maybe gave you some Inspiration.
Don't forget to pop on over to the Just Add Ink website
to see some more great Bogs and Boxes.
