My Gorgeous Girl

Loving my time at my craft desk at the moment.  With all these new products which can be purchased from tomorrow it has really got my creativity running wild.
In the catalogue Stampin up have released an Embellishment Kit and boy does this kit make things easy for any new scrapper.  All you have to do is add the paper and let your mind run wild.
I have done a double page layout with just one kit and I hope you like it.

As you can see by the layouts, everything used is all in the one kit.  The paper was the only extra thing I used that didn't come with the kit.
Here I have used some very early photos of my daughter Zoe and the layouts just highlight the photos.  Gotta love my pooh bear!
Thanks for stopping by and any comment is greatly received

A very amazing achievement as she got all 25 questions correct, she was one

This score put her in the top 1.01%

Well done Zoe you should be proud

Been having a play

 BEEN PLAYING

Well finally got some time and inspiration to sit down and have a play with some new products.  I know I said I will be posting a card soon with some of the new products available but, really wanted to show you these.
If you have seen a copy of our new Holiday Catalogue lately you might like me have gone wow with the front cover.  There is a gorgeous Christmas Ornament on the front page and I really wanted to give it a shot.  So although a little different this is my take on it.

I have used some of the old Christmas Designer Series Paper for this one.  Instead of stamping the ornaments I have just cut them out with the Holiday Ornament Framelits Dies, added some Cherry Cobbler Twine and the new Scalloped Tulle Ribbon in early espresso.  Not bad for a first go but will be working on some more real soon.
If you do like this Die and Stamp set, a great way to purchase is in the Bundle which will save you 15% on buying them separately.  Other Bundles are also available in the Holiday Catalogue so keep an eye out for them.  Always nice to save a little.

This one here is Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die, which I just love, so easy to make a flower for a card or scrap page.  Again so many more things you can do with this one.

JAI 123- Just Add a Sketch!

 A Sketch Challenge

Well here it is Ladies, I did promise you a look at the challenge card that I managed to do yesterday.  So this is for the Just Add Ink challenge site.  This week they decided on a sketch challenge.  So I love the vintage look so that is where I started.  I have also been trying to have a play with the new Framelits Labels Dies to see what different shape cards I can come up with.

My card uses Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla cardstock.  I used the largest die from the Labels Collection and fold my cardstock so that I could just cut away the top, to get the curvy look.  I have also folded it twice that so I got a concertina style card.  I used the Finial Press embossing folder and then I have sponged the raised bits with early espresso ink. I have used the Boho Blossoms punch for my flowers and the tag punch for the tag with an antique mini clip.  The stamp sets used for the words are Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess set) and the Tiny Tags for the 4 you on the tag.  The inside of the card I lightly spritzed the very vanilla cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you like my card. So don't forget to pop over to the Just Add Ink website for more inspiration.
